I have created 2 flows for Dynamics CRM, one that is triggered when an record is created, and the other for when the record is updated.
In a weird manner, both are triggered twice when a new record is created/updated.
Has anyone raised that before?
When record is created,it will sync to external application and send an email notification-it is working as expected.
After some time the flow will run and do the same action without any action from dynamics CRM side.
Create Action:
Expected:Whether it fail/success,it should be run one time only.

Please check if you any other automations in CRM updating the record. You can check the record's Audit to see if any update was done for the system in background.

Hi Krish,
I verified all possible areas in CRM and MSFlow. We have't get this type of issue earlier. Recently, we got some latest Power Platform updates. May be that is the cause of this issue.
We can avoid that by using "Is sync" bool field. But why it is triggering twice?

Does the execution flowing some pattern ? Like I see exactly after 2 hours it gets triggered. Also does the second triggered flow always fails ?

There is no time frame. If record already synced/contained in external system,It will fail (Like 2 mail) and send error notification.That is fine.
Initially,when record created in CRM(ex: Test-1)
->It will get all required details and create record in external system.
->if everything is fine,It sends success email to users.
->If any error during the creation process,it will send error notification.
After some time,the same action(same record-Test-1) was triggered with out any action from CRM side.
Also If we create an other record (ex:Test-2),it is executed as expected.But It is taking previous one which is already synced(ex:Test-1) and do the creation action.

The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities. Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”) - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024 Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods. You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately. How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can.
