What is the best way to update the information from a collection to my Sharepoint list?

Why is your data in a collection? Are you trying to write the data to new SharePoint items or edit existing?

Love your videos Shane! They've been a great way to get my feet wet with powerapps and opened a lot of doors to functionality I didn't know existed. I was wondering, is there a way to filter a sharepoint list BEFORE adding it to a collection? My goal is to reduce the data size my app is using based on the user's groups and organizational affiliation. One particular list being referenced is 181k lines long but the user needs very little of that.

That is correct - I'm collecting data from multiple sharepoint lists on different screens (steps) and then submitting to a new sharepoint list for a different department/group's use. Sadly, I can't seem to find a way to get past the 20k (indexed) sharepoint list limit. I've thought about breaking my 181k list into mulitple sub-lists but that would make it very difficult to keep the original list's data up to date. I was hoping you had a trick for using large lists like this in SharePoint (which is my only option within my organization).
