I am a technology practitioner with over 30 years of experience creating, breaking, tinkering, recreating, updating, migrating, breaking again, eating, breathing and living technology solutions; from the mundane to the “Whoa! That’s out there!” A completely self-taught technologist, I have experienced, and help guide for my employers, technology’s rapid growth and change; from my first experience entering data on a punch tape computer to today’s reality where my watch is more powerful than the first server I installed. Not just a geek, I am an avid competitive volleyball and paintball player (yes, it is not a myth, geek athletes do exist!) and I also am known to enjoy the company of a great board game, amazing musician, good book or exotic travel location on occasion.
