Convert .eml to pdf including attachments

Dear all;

I will often need to convert several hundred .eml files, and any respective attachments, to .pdf files. The .eml files are not emailed in the normal way (i.e. they aren't contained in a subfolder in outlook, but within a normal folder in windows explorer). This would also be a bulk action - i.e. I would like to "pull the trigger" when I have 150 emails ready to convert.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks very much!

Thanks very much for this @ChristianAbata - unfortunately I've come across another issues surrounding a shared one-drive folder, which appears to be quite common so I have paused this for now!

Hi John,

may I ask why you need to wait for 150 emails to be accumulated?

The easiest would be to use the "When a file is created" trigger as @ChristianAbata suggested. But then you would have to count the number of files in the folder and execute the conversion only if the number is equal to 150. And you start running into all sorts of issues e.g. "get files in folder" action is limited to the top 20 files so you can't use it to build an array and count files.

I would do it file by file. If you want only want to be notified when a batch of 150 is completed, use a counter to send an email.

For conversion, Encodian's Convert Email Message action will allow you to configure whether you want to convert the attachments to PDF and merge them into the email PDF.
