Date field update not working

I'm trying to do a simple update but it's turning into something harder. 

Just trying to take the date field from one entity and update a date field from the other entity.

I want the date from this field:

when that changes, I want it to update this field on the other entity but it goes a day behind:

It works however it goes a day behind. Thinking it has to do with utc or something converting to est (eastern timezone).

I even have a compose to get the exact date to choose from and that didn't work:

How does the date time look if you don't compose/format the date time? Like what does it look like from the source in a compose statement?

No I don't want to see what it is in the Update a row step. I want to see what it looks like exactly from the source in a compose step.

Add a Compose 2 and put the dynamic content of the date in there and let me see that. Without any changes.

This example has two steps to convert the time zone, not just a single one.

The first convert timezone gets it out of UTC time by removing the "Z", then the second convert timezone makes it the correct UTC time.

Try to put this in your flow. It is getting the date into a converted UTC datetime.

Try the one I posted on this thread. The example link won't work because it is initially in UTC whereas yours is in a date string format. There is a subtle difference.

Just make your convert date times look like mine in the example below, especially the options such as Sortable date/time pattern[s]. That first formatting of the convert date time is what makes it work.
