MS Group form not work in flow

Hi there,

I've built a flow which gets the response from a MS form and add a row in a table. This has been working fine when my form was saved as a personal form.

I then moved my personal form to a group so other can also edit it. When I updated my flow with the new group form url,the following error shows:

Flow save failed with code 'DynamicOperationRequestClientFailure' and message 'The dynamic operation request to API 'microsoftforms' operation 'GetQuestions' failed with status code 'NotFound'. This may indicate invalid input parameters. Error response: { "error": { "code": "639", "message": "Oz8oaIeEhkyts6Uijxi4k1fesgIqZpdKmqKXJhoM_4BURUFWNjZPMjBXNVoyTE1QN1NZOUJSRlo4TyQlQCN0PWcu", "@ms.form.error.type": "ExpectedFailure" } }'.SCREENSHOTSCREENSHOT

I also have a separate flow which send me a reminder when the same form response is submitted to me. When I updated that flow, it works perfectly.

Anyone has any idea how to fix the error?

Thanks,
JL

sorry i can't find the solution.

i have exact same issue

The OP appears to be missing the "=" (equals sign) prior to the form ID alpha/numeric ID code.   Try copying the web URL from the = sign and after and placing that into the FormID field.

Interestingly enough:   I can get this way to work for the trigger: "when a new response is submitted", but the very same Form ID with equals sign does not work in "Form ID" field for the next command, which is "Get response details" noting the ID doesn't work as it does in the prior step.   I get the same error after choosing "enter custom response" and pasting the form ID there with equals sign..

The only similar thing is I'm trying to use a FORM and FORM ID from a form created by a group via Teams/SP page, rather than my own business account.    Wonder why it works in the trigger step, and not the next?

Hello @ninjaryder1st ,
I have this exact same issue.

I created a complex flow triggered by the answer of a personal form. It worked well.
I then moved the form from my ownership to a group I am a member of. And added myself in the contributors of the form.
The trigger works but not the "Gets response details" action. It fails with the exact same error message than OP.
It is frustrating !!!
Someone from MS could help us, please @Msft  ?

@ninjaryder1st I have also got the same issue

@atreyu is this because I have moved it to a group form rather than keeping it in my personal forms?

Hi AshleaLu,
Yes it is. Strangely this action does not work with group-owned forms. So if you passed a Form from personal to group-owned, your action does not work anymore.
This is really a pain, and eventhough MS teams seems to be aware of it, I do not have visibility on their action to remediate this issue.
So the solution is to get your Forms back to your personal one 😕 But if you leave the company, that might become an issue.
