OData query with apostrophe within a loop, replace not working

Hi,

I am working on filtering a Get Items (SharePoint list) action with OData.  Occasionally the data has an apostrophe.  When I am getting data from the trigger "When an item is created", I am successful in creating a variable, using a compose with replace (adding a second apostrophe for it work in an OData query), then appending a variable, and finally using the variable in the OData filter query (see image below).

However when I try to do this within a for each loop (which is automatically added as soon as I choose "Title" from a Get Items action), I am unable to choose the Title field from within the Dynamic Content section as I write the Expression.  I even added the /Title manually to mimic what was successful in the first example.  When I ran the flow the first time, I receive an error that it was a new error and to check on here - but now every time I run the flow, it doesn't catch the ' in the title (in the condition step like it does above) so it errors on the OData filter query since there is an apostrophe. My Get Items loop is below.

Any ideas on how to remedy the issue?  I'm happy to do it another way if that works better.  In the "If no" above (condition to check for apostrophe), I have the same steps from the 'If yes' minus the compose statement.  I use this array later on for the bulk of my flow. Hello @CCava ,

when you're inside a loop, you don't reference the dynamic content with outputs('action_name'), that reference is needed only in the input of the 'Apply to each'. Within the loop you reference dynamic contents as item()?['column internal name'], e.g. item()?['Title']. It's because in each loop you're referencing the currently processed item from the array you loop through.

And you don't need the condition to check if the Title contains apostrophe, you can use the replace(...) expression directly in the 'Get items' action Filter Query. If it contains ' it'll replace it, if it doesn't it won't do anything and keep the original string.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I am able to use the replace expression in the "When an item is created" OData filter query, but again, within the loop, I am getting an error - a different error this time though:

I'm guessing this is because my array only has 1 column, which is just the title - and does not actually have the title field that I am trying to match/replace.  How would I go about using this with just an array, not a SharePoint list? When I append the array, it is just adding the matching text from the title field.

if it's just a simple array then you can skip the ?['Title'] part, use only item() instead of item()?['Title'] to reference the currently processed value.

Thanks for your help - these solutions helped.  I get a different error now for only 1 entry with an apostrophe - it works for all the others so we are going to remove that apostrophe for now.  I appreciate your help!
