Planner/Sharepoint - Issue between Start Date and Due Date

I have a flow where when a task is assigned in Planner, it sets the start date of the task to the current day. However this is not working in some situations. If the due date is the day after or later, it's fine. But if the due date is the same day as the start day, the flow doesn't run. Just to note, the Due Date has already been added from a Sharepoint list, so the deadline is set already.

Error message on Test: Business logic validation has failed. Validation for field 'DueDate', on entity 'Task' has failed: DueDate cannot be earlier than the StartDate

Ideally, my flow would kick off two events when a person (me) is assigned: the start date is changed to today (or right now) and the progress is changed to In_progress.

So as soon as I assign a person a task the task "begins". I want this to work even if the deadline is the same day because some tasks are same day turnaround.

Also, just to confirm I am on Greenwich Meantime/ UK Time and the date format is dd/mm/yyyy if that helps. Thank you.

Hi @redturtle ,

when setting the due date in Planner, the time will generally be set to 12am. UtcNow() will give you the current date and time. So you probably get the error, because the time of UtcNow() is later than the time in the planner.

Instead of UtcNow() try:

startOfDay(utcNow())

You may need to correct for your timezone.
