Add Picture and Attachment at the same time.

What I'm trying to do it use the Add Picture control to add an image. Then also put that image in an attachment card in a new form. I need the attachment to go to my SharePoint list but I also need the UploadedImage to send in an email. I thought I found a solution here Solved: Capture Image and Save as Attachment - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com) but when I try this it gives me an error on the attachment card about ID required.

Anybody got any ideas?

Can you share your "code" that is producing the error? I've got a picture app where I go via a collection (as multiple pics) to the attachment. No further ID is required.

For the AddMediaButton1 control for OnSelect = ClearCollect(colImage,{Name:AddMediaButton1.FileName,Value:AddMediaButton1.Media})

The for the attachment card DataCardValue33 Items = colImage

When trying to submit I get an error message that appears to be an error message in the card. 

I'm happy to share whatever can help if you can tell me specifically where to look. I couldn't find the Parent.Error anywhere to tell more details. Here is what tells that text label to be visible.

Just checking that's a typo here and not in the app you mean 32 instead of 33?

Also do you have any hidden mandatory fields in your form?

Yes that was a typo here.

I do have a couple hidden fields that are filled in by a function but they are not required fields. I double checked and required is false for both.

I've been thinking about this. I have 4 different data sources and I use a Switch to determine which source is referenced. Like this From DataSource = Switch(ddLocation_1.Selected.'Locations (Locations)',"USA",'USA Audits',"Canada",'Canada Audits',"South America",'South America Audits',"Other",'Other Audits') Do you think this could be the problem? All the others work this way and if I just use the attachments card it works fine.

Or another alternative. Can anybody help me to add an attachment from the attachment card to an email using the MAIL connector? I can't use the Outlook connector and I cannot figure out how to add the attachment from the card to an email. That is my whole reasoning for wanting to use the add picture control along with the attachment card.

Im open to this as a solution as well.

@StephenGW  I'm still stunned why it is not working as I'm doing the same. I collect the picture and then have the Item set to the collection name and it's working.. The ID error is baffling me. Have you tried checking if there are any hidden mandatory fields in your SP list? and if not just done the old delete the form and reinsert it again?

I have checked and there are only 2 hidden fields and they are not required fields. I have not tired deleting the form yet. I might have to do that and then work forward with the other form changes until I find what is breaking it. I think I will go this route and report back. Thanks
