Categorize similar items in the list on one click

hello, 

I have picked up Powerapps lately and building a data catalog app from scratch 

1) I have connected Sharepoint data as a source into Power apps 

2) I got all items listed in the app 

I stuck at some point, 

Problem statement : 

I do have different items in the field category, for example 

category

1) abc > next screen 

2) def > Next screen 

3)pqr > next screen

...

....

1) Each category (for example abc) has its own set of fields if I click on it  and it shows on the next screen, and each category contains many items,  Now

2) I want to see all "abc" category related items should be listed on a screen, and all "def" category items should be listed on another screen on a click  so that we can able to see all of them by diving categorically 

How i can add functionality to achieve this behavior?

Can you describe more about how you are deriving "abc", "def", and "pgr" from your datasource?  Is your datasource a long list that has categories on each row and you are just doing a distinct on the first gallery?

Sharepoint is the data source for this display form , as you see 4 "end point" items are there in the category, now i'd like to make it to one "end point" , and if i click on that , it should show all endpoint related entries and related info. and i do have similar categories like this

So what you are looking for is the GroupBy function in PowerApps. 

As a pure example, your first Gallery (let's say Gallery1) can be the following in the Items property:

GroupBy(yourDataSource,
    "yourCategoryColumn", 
    "records"
)

Now on a second Gallery Items property:

Gallery1.Selected.records

This will give you a distinct list of categories in the first gallery and when selected, the second gallery will display all associated rows based on that category.

@RandyHayes  , i have applied groupby and all related items have been grouped together 

but i am not able to click each individual item in the group by list and navigate to it's related information screen , how I can do that?

So what was your logic before for navigation?  You seemed to indicate you had that working/
