Clear Gallery Selected Form After Submit & New Form

Hi everyone,

I have a gallery called ProgressGallery which has a number of entries from an entity.

When I select these gallery items, I navigate to the original form where a user can update the entries by hitting submit.

However, when they submit, the form does not clear. I have a new entry button that creates a new form/clears the form, but after this has been clicked, and I try to load another gallery item by selecting the item, nothing loads in the form. The gallery only loads the selected item if no new form has been created, i.e only on app startup. 

I currently have form.item set to ProgressGallery.Selected which also autofills the form with the topmost entry on my gallery.. 

Does anyone know how to fix this problem so that I can select a gallery item and fill the form at any point (even after submitting new entries) and clear the form after submit and on visible?

I suggest you insert a Button and OnSelect put:
  EditForm(FormName)

This will turn the form into Edit mode to enable see the data that is clicked in the Gallery.

You can also add a Refresh Button to refresh datasource:
   Refresh(Datasource)

Do you want the integration of gallery, new form and edit form?

If so, you need to set these properties, please check where's your problem.

1)the gallery's Item:

data source name

2)the add button's OnSelect in this screen:

Navigate(edit form screen);NewForm(Form1)

3)the arrow button's OnSelect inside the gallery:

Navigate(edit form screen);EditForm(Form1)

4)the edit form

set its data source:

data source name

set its Item:

Gallery1.Selected

set the submit button's OnSelect:

SubmitForm(Form1);ResetForm(Form1);Back()

Then if you click different buttons, you will open the form in different modes. Every time you submit the form, you will reset this form.
