Entering multiple emails in Multiline text Form

Hi, 


I have a Dataverse Table Source
I want to create a Form in which I have a (Plain Text Column) text in which the user will enter multiple emails (comma or semi-colon seperated)


The Invite Email ID Column  will be the (Plain Text Column) of Dataverse

The form is something like this:


I am confused how to save this plain text column in Dataverse and then use Flow to send them emails separately.

Hi @MustH ,

If the form is linked to the source, then in theory it should already be saving to the correct field upon submit.

In this case, a button with SubmitForm(Form1) should suffice.

If not, you might want to share more info on the form properties, like the card, datacardvalue and update properties, because just looking at a cropped piece of the form, it's hard to see what's happening.

As for using flow, I'd suggest saving the list with ; delimiters from PowerApps - that way you can choose between just dumping the full text into the To: field or splitting them out to send 1-by-1.  If you need more guidance than that then I'd suggest posting the question on the power automate forum.

its just a Figma design and I want to design this form exactly like that
but the thing is the user will enter multiple emails in that (Plain Text) column

and Upon submit.. all those emails should get an email. I am stuck on submitting and sending emails because I want to send how many emails he entered.

• Q: Are the emails always going to be people inside the organisation?
  • A: No - then storing them as plain text is fine
  • A: Yes - then storing them as plain text is still fine - however you might want to consider using a combo-box to search and select off O365Users, rather than having people type each email in and potentially spelling them incorrectly.

Once you submit it, you can decide to use PowerApps or Flow to send the emails - depends on how complicated it is and what your trigger plan is.  Ultimately you would use a split function for flow or powerapps to split out the emails from the delimiters into a table.  Flow would be a little trickier if you're not used to using flow expressions, PowerApps you can use the ForAll() and Split() functions together with sendmail if you can connect to and use an outlook connector.

To start, connect a form to your data and work from there.

I am actually in deep confusion because I am very new to PowerApps and the company gave me an application to develop.

I have a scenario. 
I want to discuss it with you. 

I am using Dataverse as Datasource

I have a Table of MeetingDetails  in which the Meeting Details will be stored

The columns are here as follows:

1) MeetingID (AutoNumber)
2) Participant Emails (Plain Text)

3) Meeting Location (Single Lin Text)

4) StartDate (DateTime)

5) EndDate (DateTime)

6) Meeting Subject (Single Lin Text)

and I have another Table as MeetingParticipants in which it will store the emails of the those which were entered in that plaint text.

The columns are here as follows:

1) MeetingID (Single Line Text) (I didnt create it as a lookup because I am unable to handle lookups)
2) Participant Email (Single Line Text)

The MeetingDetails and MeetingParticipants are related with MeetingID, as Many to One

as One Meeting can have multiple Participants

I want to submit the data into two tables as like the above and also send the emails to them.

I have connected my form with MeetingDetails and entered emails by separating with semi-colon ( ; ) and saved in MeetingDetails but I am unable to save it in the MeetingParticipants Upon Form OnSucess.

can you please help me? I will be very thankful to you 🙂 I am totally confused on the ForAll() and Split() part !!!
