Flow goes lost while export/importing a solution between environments

Hello all,

I have an app in Environment A that has a canvas app triggered flow. This app is available inside a solution as well. I m trying to export this solution and import it into Environment B. Everything in the solution gets imported successfully but the flow. The flow wont be connected when i try and look for it in the app's data sources.

Any guidance would be hugely appreciated.

I got is working and found that flow only fails if there is any action in the flow that is misconfigured and not picking the right environment values then flow fails. 

If all your environment variables are correct and flow actions are not failing and the user have proper permissions then there is no need to even touch the power app after deployment. it works like a charm with managed solutions.

My flows are not connected after imported as managed solution.

Then if i edit it in the test environment. New updates to the Canvas App will not be visible or updated.

Getting this errors which prevents me from accessing the Canvas App using the Play Button

In your case you need to remove the unmanaged solution layer before updating the new version because unmanaged layer has the higher priority in solution layering. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/data-platform/solution-layers

You can remove the unmanaged layer by right clicking on your canvas app then go to advance settings and the solution layers. There you can see the versions and layers and option to remove it. This will allow you to see the changes.

But if you need a permanent solution then you should see why it is breaking the connection?

One of the best practice is to use a single service account for all such deployments and to preserve connection references else you need to first share the connections with the user who is deploying the solution.

I have added all the necessary flows in the Dev Solution. 
but after I import them to the Test environment. 
it says all my flows are not connected in the canvas app. And there is no sql server connection in the canvas app as well. But prompts the sql server connection allow dialog box.
