How to move the form fields to the desired position?

The field "Empresa" should move to the empty space... And all the others should reposition.

But it doesn't let me drag it there, whether "Snap to columns" is on or off, it doesn't matter.

(Yes, I've watched @RandyHayes great video).

Do you happen to have an empty datacards in that third position?  You will need to drag and drop within the Edit Fields dialog.  I would turn the snap to columns back on and then your cards should all line up properly again.

I just wanted to have the first field full width, that's all. By turning span to columns, they are divided in the number of specified columns.

Yes, so if you have first datacard as full span (all 6 columns) and the second datacard as spanning 2 columns (resize it in place in the form), then the third datacolumn spanning 2 columns (resize it in place) then you *should* be getting what you want.

Are you not seeing that?

I realize this is not a solution. But as a word of advice going forward -
Build all forms from scratch 😐 

The only time i ever touch the Form Input Control is to rip out the attachments card, and hack it up to use in a custom built form using Patch functions. Yes, it's a bit more time consuming to set up. But it's EXTREMELY more styleable and you have much more control on the data being submitted.

You should get used to the EditForm.  It is one of the more powerful features of PowerApps.  Ripping it all out and doing by hand creates more work than you ever need to do.  And if you're billing for time...well...

If you need to get up to speed on the EditForms and ALL of the things you can do with them (especially styling them), I'd recommend taking a look over my video on the topic.  If you still want to do manually, you can still leverage the valuable features of the EditForm in your own custom form.  All is included in the video (part 3 will be interesting more for you).

Thanks, but the empty space is still there, and it doesn't seem to make sense to me.

The point is sometimes "economical", you just don't want to waste 48 hours to resize a field..

This is how a 6 column form looks like now, the second row accommodates only one field.

Firstly great video @RandyHayes - I will add something from my battles with exactly what you are experiencing. I don't think you will find it in any document, but this has always worked for me.

1. Put a custom card the full width of the form and one pixel high between each group of controls you want on one line.
2. Make sure the total widths of the cards you want on the line are less than the form width (I usually leave at least 50 pixels - you can adjust them later).
3. Go to the Edit form and swap two cards on the line around and then back again - they should "snap" onto the line.

This has the added advantage in when in design mode and you have a "shuffling" event, it only affects the line concerned , not the whole form (which is a nightmare when you have 50+ controls on it).

@WarrenBelz  Thanks for the input Warren.  Yes, I mostly have a love-hate relationship with forms.  They are super powerful in what they do, but that layout and design of the "standard" default form is sometimes a nightmare.  I used to always do my own custom forms ( separate controls and submit buttons), but now (using the techniques I showed in the video) almost always use an EditForm (for its features) on another non accessible screen and tie controls to in (for my own custom look).  This works great!

So, I have what I think is a similar issue. I can't seem to move this card to the right of one of the cards above it. I'd like to stack those two date fields beside the text field. Is this possible? Pinging @RandyHayes since his video has been so helpful to me.
