@AB21

If you're just adding that to the label (the _percentage column).

With({_userEM: User().Email},
    With({_pd: Filter('Personal Development','Created By'.Email=_userEM),
          _cp: Filter('Community Participation','Created By'.Email=_userEM),
          _wbl: Filter('Work based learning','Created By'.Email=_userEM)
         },
      With({_data:
            Table(
               {Name:"Personal Development",
                Minutes: Sum(_pd,'What is the duration of the activity in minutes ')},
               {Name:"Community Participation",
                Minutes:Sum(_cp,'What is the duration of the activity in minutes ')},
               {Name:"Work Based Learning",
                Minutes:Sum(_wbl,'What is the duration of the activity in minutes ')}
            )},

            With({_pieSum: Sum(_data, Minutes)},
                AddColumns(_data,
                    "_precentage", Name & " " & Text(Round(Minutes/_pieSum, 3) * 100, "#0.0%") & " " & Text(Minutes)
                )
            )
        )
    )
)

 You can see in the above, we have the Name, the Percentage and then the Minutes.

@AB21

It greys that out when the Items has something in there that bothers it. Hover over the yellow triangle as well, what does it say?

Hi @poweractivate Is there anyway I can fix this so I can show the percentages and make the items up to 2000 per sharepoint list via power apps?

@AB21

Your Items property does not seem to have any percentage column, it appears to only have Name and Minutes in it.

Where and how are you expecting Percentages?

@AB21 Can't use Sum on SharePoint without Delegation problem.

Recommend you move the data then change the data source to Dataverse. Then you can use it.

To stay on SharePoint you can try workaround. Here is example of one:

How to Overcome Delegation with SUM function

I use different workaround from above, but will take some time to explain it, so for now you can check for similar posting. Maybe @RandyHayes have some method for you instead as well, if so I'd be curious as well to compare mine with.

The one in above I linked, that can work but it is little bit complicated. Sometimes I use that one before, it works too, basically it splits up into max batches of 2,000 - make sure your limit is set to max of 2,000 by the way too - then it goes up all the way to the max number in batches. You may need to bump up this number though  and change the formula manually as your total number of records grows if it is bigger than the ones in those clauses. I may know of different way but for now, it will take much time to explain so you can consider that one above, or maybe another advice from someone else here for now.

You also have another problem other than delegation which is about why it is graying it out, also with that @RandyHayes maybe can help you with that, as soon I might go offline, maybe someone else here can help you instead. Take a look the recent response about percentages, maybe that is related why it is greyed out, see if you can find it out why it's greyed out.

Hi @RandyHayes I want the percentage to be out of the 3 sharepoint lists:

Table(
{Name:"Personal Development",Minutes:Sum(Filter('Personal Development','Created By'.Email=User().Email),'What is the duration of the activity in minutes ')},
{Name:"Community Participation",Minutes:Sum(Filter('Community Participation','Created By'.Email=User().Email),'What is the duration of the activity in minutes ')},
{Name:"Work Based Learning",Minutes:Sum(Filter('Work based learning','Created By'.Email=User().Email),'What is the duration of the activity in minutes ')}
)

Screenshot 2021-10-20 at 3.49.15 PM.png

Hi @poweractivate How would I add this into my formula?

Sum(Filter('01. CASH APPROVAL', CASHRECEIVEREMAIL = EMPEMAILLABEL.Text, REQUESTSTATUS = "05. PAID - PENDING PROOF" || REQUESTSTATUS = "07. SUBMISSION OVERDUE" || REQUESTSTATUS = "09. FLOAT OPEN" ), AMOUNTREQUESTED)

@AB21

Sure thing... change your Items property of the PieChart to the following:

With({_userEM: User().Email},
    With({_pd: Filter('Personal Development','Created By'.Email=_userEM),
          _cp: Filter('Community Participation','Created By'.Email=_userEM),
          _wbl: Filter('Work based learning','Created By'.Email=_userEM)
         },
      With({_data:
            Table(
               {Name:"Personal Development",
                Minutes: Sum(_pd,'What is the duration of the activity in minutes ')},
               {Name:"Community Participation",
                Minutes:Sum(_cp,'What is the duration of the activity in minutes ')},
               {Name:"Work Based Learning",
                Minutes:Sum(_wbl,'What is the duration of the activity in minutes ')}
            )},

            With({_pieSum: Sum(_data, Minutes)},
                AddColumns(_data,
                    "_precentage", Name & " " & Text(Round(Minutes/_pieSum, 3) * 100, "#0.0%")
                )
            )
        )
    )
)

This should give you a _percentage column that you can choose for your Labels (Series should remain as Minutes).  Also, it should remove the delegation issue.  However...you will still be restricted by the record limit in your app.  So, if you have record limit set to 2000, then that will be the maximum number of records that any of the Filter functions in the formula will return.  If users (based on the created by) will have less than 2000 records, then you will be fine.

Please scrub through the formulas I provide as I type them by hand without the aid of a design editor.

Hi @RandyHayes

I have getting a few errors:

Any ideas?

@AB21

Yes, your formula is not what I sent you!  You have an extra With in the start and then you have a with (lowercase) that is not a recognized function.  Just copy and paste the formula I sent you.
