Need Help with Submitting Data by Patching to Sharepoint.

Hellow, I need help again.

So I am building an app with a Combo Box that looks up people from a Sharepoint list.

The combo box is now working and able to search for users. The problem is now on submitting the data to Sharepoint.

The problem is on the line 'Advocate Name': drp_Advocate_1.SelectedItems.Email

If I remove the line, it works except that the data is not submitted into Sharepoint. Please help.

tried both formulas and it is giving me errors.

Thanks for the information and sorry for the delay in response.

So, change your Items property on the Combobox drp_Advocate_1 (that is a combobox, not a dropdown control) to:

Choices('CSAT Analysis'.'Advocate Name')

Then change your formula to:

That should get you what you need.

When you use the Choices function on a person column in the Items of a control, it will return a table that will have valid SharePoint user records in it.  So, in this case, you don't need to set anything further than to specify the .Selected property of the combobox...which will be the user record.

See where that gets you next.

This also works but would it work if it will be used by other people since it has my email into the formula?
