This question involves two separate Sharepoint lists, a PowerApp, and recording a date to both sites upon submitting a form within the app.
The first Sharepoint site is a document library ('LOTO Documents') and the second Sharepoint site is a list that stores audit results ('LOTO Audits'). The PowerApp provides a list of the documents in the document library, each of which provides a link to a document informational page (Doc Content), which gives more contextual info about that specific document. From the Doc Content screen (which is unique for each document) you can select a "Start Audit" button that launches an audit form. Right now, once the audit form (Doc Audit) is complete, the user selects a Submitform button, which saves the form data to the 'LOTO Audit' list, including a date from a datepicker field used in the form.
What I want to do is use the date chosen from the datepicker field (in the audit form) to also update the "Date of Last Review" in the 'LOTO Document" document library. In other words, I need the "Date of Last Review" to be the same as the most recent "Date of Audit", as the "Date of Next Review" (adds 1 year to last review) will provide a prompt of when to audit the document next.
The "SubmitForm('Audit Form')" function is used to save/create the entry into the 'LOTO Audit' list, which works perfectly.
Below are screencaps of the column names from both sites, if that helps. I think this is going to need a "patch" function, but am not sure of that.
I would greatly appreciate any help given, thank you.
SubmitForm('Audit Form');
With({ wNext: DateAdd(DataCardValue19.SelectedDate,1,TimeUnit.Years)},
Patch('LOTO Documents',LookUp('LOTO Documents',Name='Title'),
{'Date of Last Review': DataCardValue19.SelectedDate,'Date of Next Review':wNext}))
You need to stipulate which record the Title field is in although you are better simply submitting the Form and having this OnSuccess - I assume here DataCardValue19 is not in the Form
With(
{
wNext:
DateAdd(
DataCardValue19.SelectedDate,
1,
TimeUnit.Years
)
},
Patch(
'LOTO Documents',
LookUp(
'LOTO Documents',
Name = Self.LastSubmit.Title
),
{
'Date of Last Review': DataCardValue19.SelectedDate,
'Date of Next Review': wNext
}
)
)

Warren, I appreciate your help and I want to recognize you do this for others benefit, not your own, and for that I am grateful.
I have attempted many permutations of these recommendations and still the data does not update. I do not know enough about these fields to understand your last comment.
"You need to stipulate which record the Title field is in although you are better simply submitting the Form and having this OnSuccess - I assume here DataCardValue19 is not in the Form"
I am stuck. I do not see any formula errors but the data never appears to make it to the library.
The Sharepoint column (Date of Next Review) in my library already does the calculation to add a year based on the Date of Last Review, so I don't think that needs to be included in this code.
How many files are in the Library ? Name is not Delegable, so it will only ever look in the first 500 records (2,000 it you have increased your limit)
There are right around 770 records in the document library, and delegation limit is set to 2,000.
Then the OnSuccess code I supplied should work (providing the assumption I made is correct)
Hi,
I am also planning to build Lockout and Tagout program using SharePoint Online. I saw you post on you building LOTOT audit program using SharePoint list and Power Apps. Appreciate if you share how you went and built it so we too can try to build one.
Thanks
Dinesh

I suppose I am not clear on what you mean here and I'm sure I committed many a faux pas when I made this (coming from Access, this was a big change). But I'll include a screen shot of the cards and field I used in this form, which may help. Below are screenshot of the date picker field/card.
Its been trying. I made a similar yet much more complex and highly functional app using Access, in the past. But this app is functional. Since Access isn't supported anymore (why?), this will have to do but feels like a significant downgrade in usability and functionality, unfortunately. The reliance on Sharepoint is a big drawback in my opinion. Access was all self contained.
