Office 365 Outlook calendar

Hi,

 

I cant for the life of the get the Office365.CalendarGetTables().value to work. Its not giving me any options when i add this to the item of a dropdown controller. i've added the connector. I can send email and retrieve emails through the connector, but i cannot show my calendar. From tutorials i see that i should get to choose from a list of available calendars but nothing shows up.

It has been solved. Im not sure how, but what i did was to connect to powerapps outside our office via a 4g connection and now it works. Maybe some sort of firewall issue at our office but it seems to be working as it should now. Thanks for all the help.

Are you seeing any errors or other indications of an issue?

I just double-checked -  I have a DropDown, Items property is set to Office365.CalendarGetTable().value and the Value to display is set to DisplayName.  I have all of my Calendars listed there.

 

You might also try to add a Calendar Screen to your App (Insert->New Screen->Calendar).  This screen will have the logic in its DropDown similar to the above (or at least that formula).  That *should* work exactly correct out of the box.  If that doesn't, then there would appear to be some issue with your connector.

Hi @RandyHayes  thanks for replying!

So i created a new blank app and added the calendar screen. I can add the connector withouth any issues, but no calendars show up in the dropdown(Value set to DisplayName), and so i get the calendarID error obviously.

 

Its so odd that i can use the connector for everything else but the calendar view.

Thank you again for replying but it didnt do the trick unfortunately.

 

Sometimes when i log out of all systems, clear browser cache, delete and readd all connectors it will work for a few minutes, then it dissapears again. Dont know if this information is of any use

This sounds like some issue with your account in general.  I would first make sure you are able to go into Outlook (through your browser) and that you can see all your calendars without any issues there.  That would at least verify that the account is good and the calendar is good.

Then I might try to go into your App in a Private/Incognito session to veryify that there are no issues with anything in the browser.

If still no luck, then I would try another computer and see if you can get to the calendars in the App.

Because...the formula you are using should be working!

I've tried all your suggestions now without any luck so then i suppose it must be an account issue of some sort. Any ideas on what i can check in accountsettings in order to get this to work?

Is there another account you can try?  I'd say to put in a support request on it, but I'd double check with another account if you have one available.

Summer of Solutions | Week 4 Results | Winners will be posted on July 24th

We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge!   This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks.  The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions in the Forums to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.    Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”)   - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024   Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods.  You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately.   How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.
