Use toggle to display and change Yes/No value of an item/row that has been selected on a different screen?

Many thanks again in advance, I would have given up a long time ago without this community.

I am building an app where on the home page they select an project from a drop down, this then writes to a variable onselect. They can then click the edit button next to a list of displayed sections below the drop down. Each section has a corresponding sharepoint list (that is automatically populated with powerflow. All the columns in every sharepoint list (other than prepopulated by the flow) are Yes/No columns.

The dropdown is 'DD Projectname' and the variable is varProjectselected

For example, one of the questions/column headings in the 'Contract' List is, 'Is the contract signed by the customer?' Yes/No with a default value of no.

I am really struggling with toggles and am not sure where to start. I know I can just display the question by writing it in a label, but how do I think the toggle up so that it displays the correct value and can then be modified by the user.

If someone could even point me to a guide that would be great, I am having no luck searching. Many thanks

You will need to utilize the Default property of the Toggle to display the appropriate value from your list.

I am not sure of your stage between "user selects a project from the dropdown and then clicks the edit button next to a section" and then the checkboxes.  

You mention that all of the sections in the section list are coming from different lists rather than one.  Again, not sure what the display mechanism is for your sections. But, if that is the case, then you will have some manipulation to do in order to get commonality for a generic set of Toggles rather than a screen with a bunch of added Toggles. 

However, the general concept would be:

1) Project DropDown list (no variables needed)

2) Assuming a section Gallery (let's say it is galSections) - this would display sections based on 'DD Projectname'.Selected

3) (this is where I am a little lost on your scenario) A series of Toggles where the default would be based on things like galSections.Selected.'Is the contract signed by the customer?'

I can't provide a specific and definitive solution as there are too many unknowns from your scenario.  But the above is the general concept.

Thank you for your response, I really appreciate you taking the time to do so.

I hope I can can clarify the requirements.

The app launches to a home screen, which everyone can access.
1. The user selects a project from the dropdown - this also writes to a variable onchange
2. The risk score for each section (Red Amber Green circles) in the lower half of the screen, next to a text label of the name of each section
3. If they have edit permissions the edit button will appear next to each section, this is how they will navigate to each section
4. Each section has its own Sharepoint list
5. Each list has a unique key linking the Project List list to each risk section. The rest of the columns are of the Yes/No format and each column is a question, e.g. Is the contract signed.
6. Each screen is linked to its own list.

I am fine up to this point and everything appears to be working. The next part is what I am struggling with. I have tried using the gallery but it displays by list items, i.e. all the projects rather than by header. I thought I could get round this by using text labels to write out the questions (I need to add more detail than what is in the column title) and then link a toggle for each column header/question that would display the current answer of Yes/No and allow the user to edit it.
