Visible Combo Box Formula

I have three Combo Boxes layered over each other.

I have a two Toggle controls and a Checkbox control.

If the only one Toggle is visible/usable at a time, based on the Checkbox. If the Combo box indicates a phrase and the Checkbox is checked or not one of the Combo Boxes should appear.

I having problems with the sequence.

Combo Box 1 Visible: (This should reveal Combo Box 1 and hide Combo Box 2)

If(CategoryTypeRadioBtn.SelectedText.Value="Professional",true && If(ChkBx.Value=false,true)

Combo Box 2 Visible: (This should reveal Combo Box 2 and hide Combo Box 1)

If(CategoryTypeRadioBtn2.SelectedText.Value="Professional",true & If(ChkBx.Value=true,true)

If(CategoryTypeRadioBtn.SelectedText.Value="Procurement Professional",true) && If(AddSecondaryMaterialChkBx.Value=false,true)In the visible I have the following

@PhineasT

What is the Items property of the CategoryTypeRadioBtn control?

Can you represent your logic for visibility in a less-formula way?  i.e.

Combobox1 visible when Radio is "Professional" and CheckBox is Not checked

That would all be helpful.

All hardcoded to the text options available.

["Category/Commodity","Procurement Professional","Purchasing Group"]

@PhineasT

How about for the logic of the visible on all three controls?  Can you expand on that in a less-formula way?

I don't understand your questions, sorry.

Here is an image.

There are two Toggle controls. One is is revealed over the other when the Checkbox is true or false (this is just a visual assist).

There are three choices in each Toggle with three Combo Boxes for each choice in the Toggle.

Toggle 1 and Toggle 2 have the same hardcoded choices (see previous message).

The user can choose and option with Toggle 1 this reveals the three associated Combo Boxes (based on the choice in the Toggle).

I having trouble getting only the three to show for Toggle 1 only.

I need a formula for each Visible (nine all together) that say

If Toggle 1 choice is 'Category/Commodity' and Checkbox is 'false' show Combo Box 1, 2, & 3
If Toggle 1 say 'Procurement Professional' and Checkbox is 'false' show Combo Box 1, 2, & 3
If Toggle 1 say 'Purchasing Group' and Checkbox is 'false' show Combo Box 1, 2, & 3

If Toggle 2 choice is 'Category/Commodity' and Checkbox is 'true' show Combo Box 4, 5, & 6
If Toggle 2 say 'Procurement Professional' and Checkbox is 'false' show Combo Box 4 ,5, & 6
If Toggle 2 say 'Purchasing Group' and Checkbox is 'false' show Combo Box 4, 5, & 6

What is also strange is that when I enter and interact with the App in the Studio I don't have this problem. Seems everything hides/opens/closes fine in 'Edit' in the studio. However, live on a device its as is the publish is not kicking in.

Right now I'm in edit and its working fine. However, if I save and publish and try from my phone the issue remains.

@PhineasT

What I was looking for was more of what you described at the end of your response.

But there is some terminology that I am not understanding.  You keep referencing Toggle's.  Yet you have a Radio control in your picture and formulas (previously posted).  What are the Toggle controls?  And note, these are true false controls, they do not have values like "Category/Commodity", etc.  they are just going to be a toggle.

So, I believe you are mixing the terms of the controls you have and it is confusing me as to what you are trying to achieve - I don't want to make a recommendation without understanding what you are trying to achieve.

To be clear in your final statement:

What is Toggle1 and Toggle2??  And What is Checkbox??  (based on either a description or from your picture)

Again, keeping in mind, Toggles don't "say" anything, they are true or false.  Do you mean the radio control here?

And based on your logic above, the checkbox seems to play no role in the logic.  What role does that play in the logic?  Or really, what I am looking for is - what if it is true? You only have one condition for that.

Edit:

Does this look correct if I want the result to be a visible field? Because on my screen the wrong Combo Boxes are showing and Radio1 isn't even visible or in use.

     If(CategoryTypeRadioBtn2.SelectedText.Value="Purchasing Group",true) && If(AddSecondaryMaterialChkBx.Value=true,true)

Sorry, yep radio buttons.

Everything else is the same.

The Checkbox reveals the 2nd 'Radio Button' and hide the 1st Radio button, in case the user wants to add a second option of choices.

The 2nd radio has its own set of 9 Combo Box, three at a time can be shown based on choice in Radio control. Only one choice can be made and only three 1st and three 2nd (total of six Combo Box can have data at a given time.

Honestly all the other boxes seem to be working except these one or two.

In the end I think I just need to get a grasp of the syntax of the multiple if statement in the visible property of the Combo Boxes.

For the first set Combo Boxes I need something like:

If RadioControl1 = "Category/Commodity" is true AND if Checkbox1 value is false show Combo Box 1

For the second set Combo Boxes I need something like:

If RadioControl2 = "Category/Commodity" is true AND if Checkbox1 value is true show Combo Box 4

I have two Reset buttons in the Gallery that clears out the data in the 1st and 2nd groups. The reset buttons have:

Reset(CategoryTypeRadioBtn); Reset(PSMCatComCatComCB); Reset(PSMImmediateNeedChkBx);
Reset(PSMProProfProProfCB); Reset(PSMPurchGrpPurchGrpCB); UpdateContext(({rbMode: DisplayMode.Edit}));

Funny enough, when I practice and go to the 2nd  group and use the reset, when I come back to the first group this issue of the wrong Combo Box showing it resolved. So there is something in the sequencing or somewhere.

Sorry for all the confusion and back and forth.

Edited Reply:

Thank you greatly for all the times you've assisted me.

Any chance I can get you to look I my post yesterday about the emails in Combo Boxes, please?

Never mind!

I believe I've fixed the problem.

Thank you.

@PhineasT

Happy to help...sorry I've been away from the forum for a few weeks on another project.  But trying to catch up on things now!

So as for the Radio controls.  Are you saying you have multiple radio controls as well??  How are you setting the visibility of those?

Quite honestly, you don't need to even deal with If statements for any of this, it can all be done from the Items property of your controls, but I need to get a better handle on what you have and what you are trying to achieve.  I am still not clear on all of the "overlay" controls and when they should appear and not.
