I have a flow that is using the Start and Wait for Approval.
I have 8 recipients. One of the 8 is a DL. that DL has about 5 people.
What I am finding is I receive one emial, as expected.
In Teams, I am getting 8 Teams Notifications for the Approval.
8 is exactly the number of recipients I have in the Assigned To.
Is this expected? I expected each of us to receive one email, and one Teams notification.
It seems we are receiving 8 notification popups.

It looks like its fixed on my end. I did a test and confirmed only 1 notice came in.

This issue seems to be back! Users just started reporting it in our tenant today. Was it just on the MSFT side or was there anything we can do?
it seems to be ok if the approval goes to 1 person so far for me. Only 1 notification received in Teams.
however, if the approval is going to multiple people (only tested with 2 so far) that's when I see 2 notifications popup (but thankfully only 1 approval received).
Yes, the issue has arisen again, it will send a notification for each number of approvers rather than send each approver a notification. Make a ticket with Microsoft to resolve
Thanks for the confirmation! I opened a ticket with MSFT last week but haven't heard anything on it yet. Just telling my users to be patient until MSFT can get to the bug

I have the same problem with my power automate approval flow. Once the flow has been started and approved by the recipient via Teams, the system sends 3 more notifications. Do you have any news on this?
I met with someone from MSFT support yesterday, but they didn't have an immediate/obvious answer. They're going to take it back to their team and get back to me.

The same thing is happening in my flow, several pop ups started to appear for a single approval, before the flow occurred normally, can you tell me if the problem has been fixed? I believe that my company takes a long time to update the version of the tools

There is a new version of the Microsoft Flow Approvals solution. It is not upgraded automatically on your environment. Ms support suggests it may resolve and I'm trying it.
For the upgrade, the environment admin has to go to Power Platform Admin > Environment > [Your environment] > Dynamic 365 Apps and manually trigger the update of the solution

The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities. Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”) - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024 Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods. You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately. How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.
