Automatically copies your shifts and Time Off instances from Microsoft Teams Shifts into your Office365 Outlook calendar. Default options are set to check the shifts and Time Off instances once a day.
Needs a "Microsoft Teams", "Office 365 Outlook", "Office 365 User" and "Shifts (Microsoft Teams)" connection. Import the flow and set the value of the CalendarName variable to the name of your calendar into which the shifts/Time Off instances are to be copied. Also, set the value of the TeamName variable to the name of your team from which the shifts/Time Off instances are copied.
Hi I'm also having this issue. Flow runs successfully but doesn't add any shifts to my calendar.
Hello first
great idea for a flow! Thanks!
found my problem... i doesnt set the input data 😞

Please keep in mind that since the Shifts for Microsoft Teams connector is in beta, there are some throttling limits. "List all shifts" will only return 100 shifts. If you edit the flow to check the shifts for the next four instead of two weeks, it will only get the first 100 shifts. If none of these first 100 shifts are assigned to you, no events will be added to your calendar. Personally I am getting around 80 shifts in two weeks, so I thought that would be a fine default value.
If you still want to change the default to a higher value be sure to edit the time not only at "List all shifts" but also at "Get events". Otherwise you will end up with a lot of duplicate events in your calendar.
In order to help everyone of you I need at least some screenshots of one of your flow runs. Post them here or send me a private message. I will get back at you when I have some spare time.
@MalteM I was able to successfully add the flow to my calendar but it does not bring in the "Shift Activities" or "Shift Notes" Is that possible?
Thanks in advance,
Louie
@MalteM I ran this out of the box for myself without any issue. Another user ran it and got the attached error. Any thoughts on why this might be occurring? Thanks.
Hi,
im new to this, how do i import a flow? Consider me a newbie 🙂
@mcarassale Go to https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/ and you’ll see Import towards the top menu. For this specific flow, you’ll also need to set connectors under Data > Connections for Teams, Shifts, O365, and User Profiles. You’ll need those during import to complete the import.
@MalteM Hi Malte thank you for this great flow. I am new to this and I guess I managed to set up your flow correctly however it says enter teamID which I do not know where I can find it. Any help appreciated so I get this running. Best regards, Ian
Hi @ianduc ,
you just need to enter values for CalendarName and TeamName. The rest should be filled automatically.
@MalteM Hi Malte, that's what I did and when I try to save I get the error message unfortunately in German
